The "Convivial Product" refers to the [[Convivial Tool]] developed and offered to the public for consumption and use.

In the first place, the [[Convivial Tool]] developed as a consumer product would have the [[Convivial Tool Characteristics|characteristics]] of the Convivial Tool. This involves developing a specific practice of [[Convivial Design]].

In the second place, however, the convivial tool should be developed by a process of [[Convivial Production]]. Rather than isolating the product from its social context, as is the current practice, the convivial product should evolve as part of a wider process that is itself socially convivial.
